September 4 - General Interest Meeting @ 8PM, White Gravenor 311

Come learn about how to join, the practice schedule, meets and other events. and more. All are welcome!

September 7 - First Official Run @ 7PM

We're kicking off the year with a run to the monuments, followed by a social event (details TBA). Meet at the John Carrol statue and we'll break into groups and head out from there. Don't miss this classic GRC event!

September 8 - 185 for Heroes Finish Line Ceremony @ 4PM , Copley Lawn

GRC partners with 185 for Heroes each fall, a group that organizes a 7 day, 185 mile race along the C&O Canal in support of wounded veterans. The race comes to an end on the Copley Lawn, and we're aiming to get as many people as possible to Copley Lawn to cheer on the runners cross as they cross the finish line. Update: Despite the rain and change of location, we had a great turnout and the event was a huge success!

September 20 - Be Well 5K @ 9:30AM

GRC hosts this low key fun run each year in cooperation with the Be Well organization, a group that promotes healthy living. Although this year the race more like a 5-ish K, we all had a lot of fun. Congrats to Michael and Jenny for winning for the boys and girls groups respectively!

September 26 - Back on my Feet Run @ 5:20AM

Join us on Wednesday, 9/26 for the first BOMF run of the year! Each year GRC partners with Back on my Feet, an organization that helps give Homeless men a second chance, and together we run a few miles early wednesday morning. We meet at 5:20AM outside the Front Gates and get back by 7. If interested, email Tim Dougherty (tpd28@georgetown.edu) for more information. Update: The first BOMF run was a huge success! We will continue our runs with BOMF every wednesday, so feel free to join us next time.

October 6 - Jack St Clair Meet in Philadelphia, PA

GRC competes in its first club race of the year on Saturday, 10/6. at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia. We have trained hard this year and this should be a great debut from us. Hoya Saxa! Update: Congrats to everyone who competed! We had a huge turn out and both the boys and girls teams did great. Check the results page for more information.

October 14 - Boo Run 10K

On Sunday, 10/14, GRC gets its spook on and competes in the Boo Run -- a fun 10K road race on the Tidal Basin. The mood is light and runners are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes! This is event is always a blast, and we encourage all to join us. For more information on how to sign up, email Momo McCarthy (maureenmccarthy.gu@gmail.com). Hope to see you then!

October 20 - Best Buddies 5K

On Saturday, Oct. 20, GRC will be participating in a charity 5K in cooperation with the Best Buddies organization. This is a great organization on campus that supports those with mental disabilities. We're looking for a big turnout, so sign up and tell your friends about it! Email Phil Dearing (pcd29) for more information. 

October 20 - NIRCA MidEast Regionals in State College, PA

Also on Saturday, Oct. 20, GRC will compete in NIRCA Regionals in State College, PA. It's shaping up to be a great race and we encourage everyone to participate! As always, the race is an 8K for men and a 6K for women. Update: Congrats to both our men's and women's teams! We put forth a solid effort and shared some great moments.
